David Griffiths Forage Conditions On the Northern Border of the Great Basin: Being in White

This report provides an indepth investigation of forage conditions in the northern border of the Great Basin, specifically in the region between Winnemucca, Nevada and Ontario, Oregon. The report covers the monthlong investigations conducted by the author during July and August 1901. It includes detailed observations and analyses of the vegetation, soil, and climate conditions, as well as recommendations for improving the forage resources in the region.
