I recorded all of these mad mouth sounds myself in the studio. And as a contrast to Dog Man, the police chief and action cues are accompanied by wahwah guitars, sax and afro flute. Its like Bullet meets Shaft, blending elements of Lalo Schifrin and Isaac Hayes. This thread of classic 60s and 70s crime thrillers is woven throughout the score.
