Salewa Vioz Powertex/Polartec Wool Alpha Jacket 28040-3961 Vioz provides breathable insulation and adjustable comfort in a sporty fit for changing conditions and mountain activities in the fall and winter. Waterproof, windproof and breathable Powertex First, the extremely breathable 2.5-layer shell material (water column: 10,000 mm, MVTR: 40,000 g/m²/24h) provides reliable weather protection and enables a weight-saving design. We give it a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish and welded seams. Active insulation What really sets this jacket apart is the hybrid wool-blend insulation Polartec® Alpha® Direct, which is exclusive to SALEWA®. Its stretched-up fibers are bonded to a solid mesh core, releasing excess body heat before it builds up, causing saturation and freezing discomfort. We’ve strategically placed it under the mesh lining on the front, back, and top of the sleeves. The extra wool content provides an extra level of thermoregulation and comfort.
