Product Description
Carlube Triple R 5W-40 R-Tec 28 provides robust performance with proven protection against engine wear, sludge and deposit formation. With approvals including ACEA A3/B4, API SN and MB 229.3, Carlube Triple R 5W-40 R-Tec 28 meets and exceeds American and European industrywide specifications. An oil meeting these specifications demonstrates all-round reliability for vehicle owners. Carlube Triple R 5W-40 R-Tec 28 sustains engine cleanliness and prevents the accumulation of deposits on the surface of key engine components such as the pistons. Deposit buildup can cause many issues, including the impairment of component cooling and movement, as well as increased corrosion and engine wear. Alongside the proven performance and cleanliness characteristics of this engine oil, Carlube Triple R 5W-40 R-Tec 28 provides excellent durability, minimising engine wear by offering over 70% more protection compared to industry tests using a key Mercedes-Benz engine. Preventing wear in the engine can extend the life of a vehicle whilst minimising costly downtime. Guidance Changing your engine oil depends on the type of vehicle, the mileage, driving styles and driving conditions. Always consult and follow your manufacturer's manual for the best guidance on when to change your engine oil and what type of oil to use. If necessary, you can check the oil level and easily top up your engine oil. Ensure your car is on level ground, and the engine is cool and not running, simply open the bonnet, locate the bright handle of your oil dipstick and gently pull the dipstick. Clean the dipstick to identify the oil level markers then fully reinsert the dipstick and pull it out once more. The oil shown on the dipstick should sit between the high and low markers. If your oil is below the low marker, you should top up with the manufacturer's recommended engine oil grade and specifications. Alternatively, you can book your vehicle for an oil change at your local garage.
