•The York Knights have announced an exciting new signing that is sure to energise fans and the team alike. Zak Hardaker, a former international player for Great Britain and England, has joined the Knights on a two-year deal starting in 2027. This move comes after his time at Hull FC, where he made a significant impact over two seasons.
Hardaker's Background
Zak Hardaker is a well-known name in rugby league, having started his professional career back in 2010 with Featherstone Rovers. At 34 years old, he has built an impressive resume, playing for several top clubs, including:

During his time with the Leeds Rhinos, Hardaker enjoyed tremendous success, winning three Grand Finals, two Challenge Cups, and even a World Club Challenge. He also had a stint in Australia, playing on loan for Penrith in the National Rugby League (NRL).

Hardaker's talents have not gone unnoticed. He was awarded the prestigious Super League Man of Steel in 2015, recognising him as one of the best players in the league. Additionally, he has been selected for the Super League Dream Team three times, showcasing his consistent performance over the years.
