People Administrator £24,784.50 per annum Full-time, Permanent (37 hours per week) Normanton - Office-based, 4 days per week with 1 day working from home We are seeking an organised and proactive People Administrator to join a busy People (HR) team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in Human Resources within a fast-paced and supportive environment. Working closely with the wider People team, you will provide professional and customer-focused HR administration support across a range of employee lifecycle activities. The role offers exposure to all areas of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, and organisational change. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle. Maintain accurate employee records within the HR information system, including starters, leavers, contractual changes, absence records, and personal details. Support recruitment administration, including preparing offers and employment contracts. Assist managers with absence monitoring and reporting. Coordinate training activities, maintain attendance records, and produce training reports. Administer contractual amendments and employee documentation. Support family-friendly leave and flexible working processes. Manage and respond to queries received through the HR inbox, escalating where necessary. Provide first-line guidance on routine HR matters to employees and managers. Take notes during meetings when required. Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with the digitalisation and maintenance of employee records. About You: Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. A professional approach when handling sensitive and confidential information. A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude. Strong integrity, discretion, and reliability. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
