The Wild Wood

We were heartbroken when Bella passed, but The Wild Wood made an unbearably difficult time so much gentler. They treated Bella with the same care and dignity we would have. Melanie collected me promptly and handled everything sensitively, keeping us informed and updated. The cremation and return of Bella’s ashes was handled with real respect and attention to detail. Everything arrived back with us quickly and exactly as promised, beautifully presented and with a lovely keepsake which included a paw and nose print that we will treasure forever. If you need a caring, professional service that treats your pet like family, I cannot recommend The Wild Wood highly enough. We will always be grateful.

Its taken a while to write as we are still grieving the loss of our beloved little boy, having had to make the most difficult decision of our lives. We called Melanie and she was so sympathetic and caring on the phone, and knew then and also from close friends recommendations that, the Wild Wood was the correct choice for the final goodbye of our little man. She made the whole process easier than I imagined and we were reunited with our baby the next day, with personal return and a lovely keepsake card with his nose and paw print and a lock of his hair with a lovely poem enclosed. The urn we chose was very fitting and couldn’t have wished for anything more. CJ could not have had a more fitting goodbye.Thankyou Melanie x

We lost our grand old boy (17 1/2 years old) & Melanie was absolutely fantastic with us, especially Helen my partner. She promised to look after him & bring him back to us as soon as possible. At the time we didn't realise were The Wild Wood are based. But Winterset was JD's favourite place to go for a walk. So we will more than likely get a plaque for him in the woods.

I am so glad I came across The Wild Wood Pet Crematorium, from having to make the heartbreaking initial phone call Melanie was so lovely and supportive, explaining in detail and at the same time expressing her love for animals, letting me know that my beautiful GSD 'Elsa' was in the best hands. The service offered was impeccable from collecting my beautiful girl to bringing her back home. Thank you so much for making this sad time so respectfully done. I can't recommend The Wild Wood enough.

These people are just exceptional. We lost our 14 year old Husky this week and The Wild Wood made a difficult and heartbreaking time, effortless. From the moment we called them to collect our little boy, their communication was sensitive and thoughtful. They hand delivered him home to us within 36hrs of his passing.
