Production Supervisor

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Rotherham to recruit a Night Shift Supervisor. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader or Supervisor who enjoys being hands-on within a manufacturing environment and wants to take ownership of a night shift operation. You'll be responsible for leading the night shift across a number of production areas, including machining, ensuring the team delivers against Safety, Quality, Delivery and Efficiency targets. Night Shift Supervisor Rotherham Permanent Nights – Sunday-Thursday Salary: £50,000 Key responsibilities of the Night Shift Supervisor include: Lead and supervise a team of approximately 10 employees across the night shift Plan, schedule and review workloads to ensure production and on-time delivery targets are achieved Monitor daily production performance and report against agreed KPIs Drive improvements across Quality, OTD and OEE Monitor product quality and take corrective action where required Champion a strong safety-first culture, ensuring H&S procedures are consistently followed Support continuous improvement activity across the operation Develop, coach and motivate employees to improve individual and team performance Maintain training and competency levels across the department Work closely with Maintenance, Planning, Quality, R&D, Purchasing and HR We're keen to speak to experienced Night Shift Supervisors with the following skills & experience: Previous experience leading or supervising a team within manufacturing A hands-on leadership style and the confidence to take ownership of a shift Experience working within machining, engineering or a production environment Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills An understanding of manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, productivity, quality and on-time delivery Knowledge of continuous improvement, TPM or preventative maintenance would be beneficial Good IT skills, including Excel and production reporting The ability to motivate, engage and develop a team A positive, proactive and organised approach Confidence and proven ability to lead a shift unsupervised This would suit an established Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Team Leader looking for a role where they can have genuine ownership of the night shift and play a key part in improving operational performance.
