Now under new management and reopened, it is really good to see the pub not go to flats or flattened to make housing! The pub still retains the original features and the back room is dog friendly with a wood stove in. The staff or very friendly and helpful and the pint is as good as you would won’t. Just go you will not be disappointed!! Just for information they do not serve food but bar snacks are available.
Nostalgic outing to the Alma. Not been in since Boxing Day two decades ago. £3.35 for real ale... Oh what a treat - nostalgia and a bargain.. Cheers!
Fabulous traditional old boozer with real back street charm. Good choice of beers including a lovely milk stout.
Great real ale pub. Good service. Reasonable prices.
A really poor pub with a strong damp smell pervading. It seemed an effort for the lady to serve us and she implied there was only one real ale available because it wasn't worth the effort to tap more. Large areas of plaster were missing and the seats next to us were covered with debris from the roof and walls. Avoid
