The night kicked off with the iconic Lightning Seeds, who warmed up the crowd with a string of beloved indie classics. Songs like Pure, Sense, and You Showed Me had fans singing along, but it was their 1996 anthem Three Lions that truly electrified the atmosphere. As oversized inflatable footballs soared through the air, the audience joined in, chanting the well-known lyrics. Frontman Ian Broudie cleverly adjusted the lyrics to reflect the current football spirit, singing, "60 years of hurt, they'll never stop us dreaming," which struck a chord with the crowd ahead of England's World Cup quarter-final match taking place that weekend. The set concluded with fan favourites Lucky You and The Life of Riley, leaving the audience buzzing with excitement.
