Taco Bell Sheffield Broughton Lane

I recently visited the Taco Bell Sheffield Arena near the ice arena, and unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. The location is convenient if you’re heading to a game or event, but that’s about where the positives end. The first thing that stood out was the portion sizes. For what you pay, the food feels seriously underwhelming. The burritos and tacos looked more like snacks than actual meals, with very little filling inside. It left me feeling like I’d spent a decent amount of money for something that barely touched the sides. From what I’ve since seen, this seems to be a common complaint, with other customers also mentioning “really small portions of food” and lack of filling. The bigger issue, though, was hygiene. My child’s drink had what looked like a small piece of the drinks machine in it, not something you ever expect to find. It was pretty off-putting and instantly ruined the experience. Situations like that make you question how well things are being maintained behind the counter. Overall, while the location is handy and the menu sounds appealing, the reality just doesn’t match up. Between the tiny portions and the unpleasant surprise in the drink, it’s not somewhere I’d rush back to anytime soon.

Liked the food, I hadn't been before, thrte was no till service The entire section has a counter top to ceiling screen on it. It had everything else, just no view of staff or food being prepped Weird But when I met the staff, they were really friendly, still weird though.

This was a fantastic restaurant to eat in at, where the meal deals are listed very clearly on a digital display at the till! I was served by some lovely staff, who customized my order when I asked for no tomato and also directed me to the drinks machine. My meal box was delicious and came at a value price of £5 for two tacos, chips, pop and cinnamon twists. The order receipt I was given came in handy, providing both a number for collection at the point and details of my order that would help if anything went wrong. I went to the machine had to fill up my cup with Pepsi Max Cherry, finding the text and layout to be very appropriate! The seating was comfortable and the tables are well-sized, also it is good that glass properly separates the kitchen from the dining area. Cleanliness was maintained throughout and the area is pleasant as a whole, having multiple windows and pictures.

Had a good lunch today, still my favourite is chicken quesadilla. Staff nice. There are power sockets available and free wifi. Sol beer only available with food

Speed of service was incredible however the staff lacked any interest in customers . Food was hot and fresh, drinks station has a good choice and restaurant was clean with plenty of fresh and clean tables available.
