KFC Sheffield - Barnsley Road

I came into this KFC restaurant earlier today to dine in after ordering my food and receiving it I was given my food in a paper bag, I asked for a Tray as I was eating in and met with "We don't give trays out because they get robbed" basically assuming we'd want to rob a plastic KFC tray. Very poor attitude and customer service when in the restaurant and on top of all that, they had previously been giving trays out to other customers. I go to KFC pretty frequently and other stores always offer or give you a tray when you dine in, never had this issue before and I genuinely like I was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome within the restaurant. I was basically forced to eat my food off the paper bag which then the grease had gone through it . Half of the tables didn't even have chairs in either as well as the toilets were also locked so my friend couldn't use it. Absolutely awful service. I will never be using this KFC restaurant again treated us like criminals for only asking for a plastic tray to eat from.

Ordered via uber eats. Missing a portion of fires and was also horrified to have found a sticky label fried into the batter of the chicken as well as a hair. Was not given a refund despite complaint. £30 of food in the bin as didnt feel it was safe to eat.

My experience at KFC Barnsley road, Sheffield was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of friendly and efficient service, impeccable cleanliness, delicious food, variety, and a family-friendly atmosphere made it an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend visiting this KFC restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying and enjoyable meal. I can’t wait to return and indulge in their mouthwatering offerings once again. They have got huge car parking facility and drive through experience as well.

Used to be a manager here, only just recently managed to escape. Half the staff and management are incompetent and lazy. Sat in the office on their phones while the rest of us slave away for minimum wage. Upper management are bullies. Us shift managers, 9 times out of 10, weren’t able to take breaks. The food isn’t really any better, most likely pre breaded half an hour before cooking. That’s why it’s dry. Fries have definitely been sat there 30+ minutes. Staff don’t wash their hands. 80% of the positive reviews on here are from staff… All burger ingredients (lettuce, tomato, corn, cheese etc) are reused from the day before 🫠 same as your sides. Gravy has definitely been redated at least 3 times and is still the same gravy from 9am-11pm. If you get a side with no date on it it’s because it’s expired. The trays of raw chicken aren’t as fresh as you think. 100% been redated after restaurant label expired, same as defrosted chicken 😳 not fresh after 24 hours from open but we just changed the date 🤣 Most of the fresh burger ingredient's definitely expired the day before and was just shoved in the burger station so we didn’t waste any.. Fresh chicken coming out of defrost at 20+°c and just being shoved in the freezer to cool down… that’s why we had so many illness reports.. Defrosting chicken in hot water during rush and it being 20° and still cooking and serving it… again, that’s why we got so many illness reports. Ice machine constantly having mould and doing nothing about it. Ice dump was never cleaned or changed.. if there was still ice from the day before it was just topped up ready for use.. I’ve seen the RGM pick food up with his hands and serve it, same as being picked up off the floor and served. There is a lot more than I care to type, but just stay vigilant and be careful if you decide to eat here.. or work here. You’ll want to off yourself after a month.

Amazing.. Lovely lady called sommer served me and my daughter. She Went above and behond to help us. I'm vegan and she didn't make me feel indifferent. She was helpful understanding and pleasant. They didn't have any vegan burgers.. So sommer been pleasant and helpful made me feel still valued. My daughter asked for percefic chicken drumsticks. She made that possible even did it her self to make sure order was correct. I have had bad experiences before in this KFC, but sommer has changed my perspective... P. S. The rice box is amazing!!!! N the legs are juicy. Xxx
