Be a part of it.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN/ RNLD) with a passion for delivering outstanding care.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>You’ll be working 30 hours a week (6 hours days Monday to Friday working pattern to be discussed at interview) at Sheffield Day Services.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Sheffield Day Services support people with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, in addition to those with complex health needs, physical disabilities and autism.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>We aim to enhance the quality of life of the individuals who attend the service. We focus on demonstrating outcomes and value through our activities.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>You will provide specialist nursing support within Learning Disability Day Services, ensuring the health, wellbeing, and safety of people with learning disabilities and complex health needs. </p> <p><br /></p> <p><b>Your Day-to-Day…</b><br />• Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations</p> <p>• Promote best practice in the management of long-term health conditions, epilepsy, dysphagia, diabetes, PEG feeding, medication management, and other complex healthcare needs.</p> <p>• Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality</p> <p>• Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing<br />• Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual c<br />are plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals.<br />• Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.<br /><br /><b>You are…</b><br />• Open, compassionate, honest & resilient<br />• Newly Qualified or Experienced RNLD with a current Pin Number<br />• Capable to maintain documentation and undertake audits<br />• Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices<br />• Able to deputise in a clinical lead role<br />• Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk<br />• Helping to empower & support service user independence.<br /><br /><b>Why Cygnet?
