My car needed a wheel alignment urgently and Danny picked up my call almost immediately. He was able to find me an appointment that same afternoon, which was great customer service right from the start. It got even better when I arrived. Danny and Kev on the front desk made sure that work began on my car without delay. The whole operation was friendly and faultless – something I have experienced before at other branches of Halfords. Five stars all day long.

Got a problem with my air-conditioning Halfords Auticentre at Drakehouse, Sheffield, diagnosed last year but I didn't have the work carried out at the time. Phoned this Mon a.m. Danny retrieved my old quote and remarkably the price had remained the same! Booked a slot the same day, dropped the car off and within 90 mins the repair had been done .... just in time for the spate of warm weather we had this week. Well impressed with the service ! 😎 Thank you ! 😀

I had my MOT done at Halfords for the first time today and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Everything was straightforward, the staff were friendly and professional (especially Kev), and I was kept informed throughout the process. I’m really pleased to say my car passed with no advisories, which made it even better. Overall, great service, quick turnaround, and no hassle at all. I’d definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

Had a mot and service done at crystal peaks Halfords garage. They rang me to say I needed a new battery, when I asked the price they said 159.50 fitted. I declined. When I went home and checked on their website they had quoted me for a stop/start battery which I do not have on my car. I rang them, he said there were 3 that fitted my car but they had only given me the most expensive quote which was the one I didn't need. No apology. I ordered one from the Halfords store which was £120 fitted. All taking extra time when if they'd given me the choice of the standard one I could have had it fitted while it was at the garage. The staff at the store fitted it this morning. Staff are brilliant there. The same cannot be said for the person on reception at the garage. I will not be using them again.

I’ve used this Garage at Drakehouse a few times now but this will be the last I use it. I had 4 new tyres fitted the other day all perfect and the same customer service as I previously got. Although, When I returned to pick up the car one of the guys told me the car was dangerous due to the breaks being worn and it needed pads and disks etc. It would be around £600 to be done. This is strange as it was only in Mercedes a few days before having an update to the software and as part of this had checks which they all came back fine (The reason I had the tyres done as I didn’t want to pay Merc prices for tyres when I could get them at Halfords for half the price) I decided to take the car to another completely different garage to get it checked for another opinion as I wasn’t happy with what I was hearing. Again they said the breaks and disks were fine. So a garage and Mercedes both said the breaks were fine. Halfords are the only ones saying they need replacing. Why would they say this when on average they are only 50/60% worn. I didn’t think Halfords would have been like this and definitely feels they were just trying to get more money out of me. Because of this I will not be using their services again. Be careful when visiting this Branch. I cannot say other Halfords branches are the same but always get a second opinion if you think something isn’t right! I also booked it in for a 4 wheel alignment which was for a Merc VClass Van. But after reading it should have only been a 2 wheel alignment as it’s not a 4x4. I’m not sure how true this is as I’m not 100% sure but if this is right I would have thought it would have been picked up and explained to me correctly. Maybe refunded if only a 2 wheel was needed. I’ve only realised this after so my fault for not checking but it just added to my negative experience.
