UPDATE TO REVIEW Ben from Lookers Middlesbrough service department contacted me to see what they could do to better the service we’d received at our recent visit for a MOT and service. I appreciate that they take customer concerns seriously and offered a solution to make amends. We’re very happy with the outcome. Ben was excellent throughout. Thanks. Buying a new car from Lookers Middlesbrough is great and the service plan I bought was really good value but once it’s MOT/service time, that’s another story. Outrageously expensive for replacement tyres. Just been quoted over £457 for one Pirelli tyre where the same on the high street is £192. The car is a Mk3 RS on 19” so nothing special on the tyre size. I don’t think the service book has ever been filled in, I’ve had to ask them to fill it in. Book a while you wait appointment, be three hours minimum in my experience so I don’t do that now. Drop the car off at 09:30, get the call at 16:30 to pick it up. I’ll go back for a service and MOT just for the FSH. The staff on the service desk are great and I’m sure the staff servicing the car are spot on but there doesn’t seem like there’s any urgency or competitive pricing on replacement parts. Great looking business and friendly staff.

Routine service, completed as expected. I chose to wait, because it's an out-of-the way place for me, and the job was done to the 2 hours that I was promised, so all good. Polite and friendly greeting when I arrived, cup of tea offered and accepted, which adds to the positive experience.

Best customer service and work carry out was top notch because the stuff they said I Needed it didn't feel like they need doing but that because my hearing as I am deaf person. oil leek has was bad they stop it for me even though I pulled it out because the warranty off car sales refuse to pay the prices so now going through investigations now. But if it wasnt i would have my handfull off repairs to deal with in furture. so thank you !!

Great experience using Lookers Ford, I was unsure on the exact part I needed for my car but the team had excellent customer service! After finding exactly what part was required, I installed it and my car is working perfect now. The team saved me so much money by finding the right part, right away! It was not bad priced also. Thanks to all the team involved. Definitely 5 start service!

It wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. First of all, my booking through BookMyGarage was for £215, but when I arrived the price had increased to around £241, which was not clearly explained to me. I also asked them to change all my headlight bulbs, and they quoted £65 just for labour to replace the bulbs, which I agreed to. While I was waiting, the mechanic came to me and said that two out of the three bulb pairs I had brought were the wrong size. I asked if they had the correct ones available, and he said yes, but they would cost £45 per bulb. I declined and asked them to simply reinstall the old bulbs. However, I was still charged labour as if all the bulbs had been changed. After I got home and it became dark, I noticed the headlights were not set properly. The beams were pointing too high into the trees and the dipped lights were behaving like high beams. Now I will have to visit another garage to fix the issue and pay additional labour again. Overall, this was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this garage.
