First time I've been in a Barnardo's charity shop. It was well set out and the lass that served me was very pleasant!

Awful experience with the main guy who works there. He lost hundreds of pounds from me buying many items due to greed and putting the prices up before I came in next to purchase them. The younger lady was amazing, but the guy is blunt, rude and shouldn’t be working in the customer sector. I never want to go back there, when I go to multiple charity shops a week and spend a lot of money in each. I work in one locally and If we spoke to our customers like that, we wouldn’t have any people spending. Disgusting.

My husband tried to donate today and went to the back doors. A guy told him "we're shut". The time on the net said open till 6pm and it was 4.20pm! He asked if he could just drop them into the open back doors (3 large bags full of nice mens clothes including a couple of spring summer jackets plus some clothes still with tags) to be told "no". Husband said he would best take them elsewhere and the guy said "go on then"!. How very appreciative of someone's time and petrol eh!?

I dropped my donations off at the back door the other day and it was hard because it was my mam’s clothes. I was met by the loveliest lady. We had a lovely chat about losing someone close and she ended by telling me…. don’t worry we’ll help you! Sometimes you have a really special moment in life and that was one of them. Hope she sees this ….thank you!
