Great traditional pub with bags of character. The Spread Eagle has that proper old-school feel that’s getting harder to find — warm atmosphere, well-kept beer, and a beer garden that’s one of the best in town. Staff are on the ball and the place always feels alive without being rowdy. A great spot for a quiet pint or a few with mates after work. Merry christmas great pub
Great pub and atmosphere, new landlord/landlady Gary and Alison always make you feel welcome they even gave me some eclairs recently when I was having a bad day. Would certainly recommend a visit and a few pints if your local or visiting the town 👍
