I visited Slim Chickens at Haven Primrose Valley Holiday Park and overall it was an average experience. Prices are quite high for what you get and they don’t accept rewards card, which was a bit disappointing. The restaurant itself wasn’t very busy when we visited but there were a lot of delivery orders going out, which made the service slower than expected. The food was okay but honestly, I expected more in terms of quality and taste, especially considering the price. Overall, it’s not terrible but it doesn’t really justify the cost.
Kaysey Charlton was oh so very amazing and made me feel like i wanted to come back in the future and i wish to come back to see her make another milkshake for me later this week as i am staying here for the summer peace and pout #give kaysey a pay rise
Delivery. Not that lonb. Chicken strips in honey BBQ is the best. Fries were also lovely. My drink was a nice, cold fanta. I love that spider man brand new day meal. It's worth it
Why is the chicken tenders soo small? Smaller than the wings >.
Food ended up barely warm, even though it was cooked to order. All of this was down to a staff member possibly on the autistic spectrum messing around and taking 10 minutes pressing lids onto the milkshakes we had ordered and then leaving our milkshakes for 18 minutes while we waited to receive them, this caused the rest of our food order to be almost cold. We even heard another staff member tell them, “why didn’t you give the customer their milkshakes, they have been waiting 18 minutes for them”? Please train your staff better in providing a fast and efficient service, as the food is not spectacular and overpriced for a Haven site. I wouldn’t recommend until the level of service is up to standard, you are paying a premium for poor quality service and food. The Haven site can be busy, I get that. But there’s no excuse for such poor level of service for the premium price customers are paying on site. This also goes for all the other establishments on the site. You only have to read other reviews to see for yourself. The whole lot of establishments on the Haven site needs immediate improvement.
