Walk Description
Starting in the marketplace with it's fabulous examples of Georgian period architecture you can stroll around the streets of the medieval town. Follow the route out of town alongside the Cod Beck river or take a slight detour to wonder through the streets and discover more beautiful buildings. Once you follow the route riverside you'll be treated to the wildlife on the door step of Thirsk. Keep your eyes peeling for the local birdlife, you may even spot a kingfisher on your travels. When you return to the town make sure to refuel in one of the excellent cafes or pubs in the town.
