Big meat section. Give yourself plenty of time to hunt for good bargains. Many popular and famous shop brands available. Good discount on beer and other alcoholic beverages including wine. Large meat section. Several chest freezers of frozen goods including ice cream. Empty your freezer before visiting as many near end of date items can be frozen. I even came away with a bottle of champagne I bought. Staff very helpful and cheerful. Good customer care.

Love this shop for budget items, however the staff is not always helpful. I think they might be very busy.

-You need to be price savvy, not everything is cheap -You need to be date aware but also know that the dates should be a guide not a rule -You need to have an empty freezer to freeze or have a very big house to feed -You need to be a creative cook...think Ready Steady Cook back in the day -You need to be aware that many leave their manners at the door in a bid for grabbing bargains over others -if travelling a distance to visit then supermarket shop after to supplement how to make items into a meal. There is potential to buy for the sake of it and then not have a coherent meal plan. A great idea to save food waste and stretch your money if you are careful

Great place for some bargains has loads of low price groceries from big chain stores at a lower price than at the retailer. Entry is only for people who are members and membership isn't available to everyone, (check website) , but if you are accepted it's great loads of savings to be had. Look out for posts on the Facebook group keeping you updated with the latest bargains, I now visit regularly and wanted to say how brilliant the staff are, very pleasant and extremely helpful , all go above and beyond what other staff at other retailers do. Recently prices have increased but that's inflation and the costs have risen, but still below mainstream. Staff are some of the most friendly and helpful people I have ever come across, extremely helpful. Visiting regularly I can say that staff are extremely friendly and make it a pleasure to visit, recently there's less fresh refrigerator supplies which is a shame
