HR Advisor
<p>We are currently working with our Public Sector client (based in Wakefield) to recruit HR Advisors on a 6-7 months fixed term contract basis. </p> <p>You will be working for a forward-looking, ambitious organisation committed to being an exemplar within the health services community of the Yorkshire region and nationally.</p> <p>As a HR Advisor you will be responsible for providing full support to the Senior HR Team assisting and supporting apprentices, work placements or temporary agency staff as appropriate.</p> <p><strong>Role Information</strong></p> <p>-Flexible hybrid working</p> <p>-37.5 hours per week</p> <p><strong>Job Role:</strong></p> <p>• To support on reducing sickness absence through active management of cases including short-term & long-term sickness</p> <p>• To manage a case load of investigations and employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, and support managers in performance management issues</p> <p>• To ensure the provision of advice to all managers within the Trust regarding all aspects of employment procedure for all categories of staff, as well as associated post-employment issues.</p> <p>• To support the Senior HR Advisor on meeting the Trust’s key performance indicators which relate to case work including sickness absence</p> <p>• Seek guidance from the Senior HR Advisor where required</p> <p>• Work on own initiative and prioritise own workload and ensure key performance indicators and service level agreements are met as agreed with the Senior HR Advisor</p> <p>• Contributing towards and supporting ongoing project work</p> <p><strong>Skills/Competencies</strong></p> <p>• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to differing audiences<br /><br />• Have the ability to exercise initiative<br /><br />• Demonstrable organisational skills<br /><br />• Advanced keyboard skills – a high degree of accuracy and speed required in all tasks<br /><br />• Demonstrates commitment to, and enthusiasm for, personal development</p> <p> Ability to prepare accurate written correspondence<br /><br />• Ability to prioritise tasks and to managing conflicting demands on time and resources, to deliver objectives<br /><br />• Ability to develop effective working relationships, and demonstrate professional credibility with colleagues at all levels<br /><br />• Able to work effectively as part of a team<br /><br />• Able to plan and manage time effectively<br /><br />• Good standard of IT literacy including working knowledge of databases and Microsoft office package.<br /><br />• Demonstrates high level of confidentiality</p> <br />
