Electrical Maintenance Engineer
<p>New opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering team in Wakefield, responsible for maintaining and improving automated production equipment through planned maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown repair activities.</p> <p><strong>Client Details</strong></p> <p>Our client is a leading UK organisation with a highly automated operation, offering engineers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment, develop their skills, and build a long-term career within a growing business.</p> <p><strong>Description</strong></p> <p>Duties will involve however not be limited to;</p> <ul> <li>Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance. </li><li>Engage and manage external contractors. </li><li>Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment in accordance with the production hours. </li><li>Assisting and managing the delivery of Supply Chain technical projects. </li></ul> <p><strong>Profile</strong></p> <p>The successful candidate will have;</p> <ul> <li>Minimum recognised Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualification. </li><li>Experience working within a maintenance department. </li><li>Experience working with automated conveyor systems. </li><li>Experience fault finding within a an electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. </li><li>Desirable qualifications: IOSH or NEBOSH. </li><li>Desirable knowledge: Management of a technical team </li></ul> <p><strong>Job Offer</strong></p> <p>Please note, this is a shift based role.</p> <p>Week 1 - Day shift 5:45am - 2pm</p> <p>Week 2 - Night shift 9:45pm - 6am, and Sundays 6:30am to 1:30pm</p> <p>Week 3 - Back shift 1:45pm to 10pm</p> <ul> <li>Salary including shift allowance is £47k</li><li>22 days (pro rata) paid annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with length of service</li><li>Medicash- a health cash program to assist with day-to-day healthcare costs, such as eyecare or prescriptions</li><li>iTrent Financial Wellbeing - a financial wellbeing application which allows for flexible control of your finances</li><li>Access to High Street discounts</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme</li><li>Contributory Pension Scheme</li></ul>
