Halfords Garage Services Wakefield

Took my car for its mot. Paid extra to book a time slot. Arrived 10 mins early as requested. Was to it would be an hour. Returned 1.5 hrs later to be told it wasn’t ready. In fact it hadn’t been started on. No phone call to say it would be delayed or anything. Then was told it would be another hour. Returned after receiving a call saying in was ready. So booked the car in at 14:20 and finally picked it up 17:00hrs with no explanation as to why it was delayed by 2hrs. Not very professional and you have to pay extra for a time slot. What a joke!

Booked my car in for x2 new tyres. Good price, in stock and easy to get a suitable appointment. All done online easily. Rang on day to say could got me in earlier which was perfect as it turned out! Very fast, friendly and efficient service. Happy customer.

I went to Halfords on Ings Road in Wakefield this morning for a pre booked puncture repair. I had an appointment for 0830 and I was seen on time by Kyle. He ensured the repair was completed efficiently but he asked me to have a look at the tyres because he was concerned about the cracks that were visible on all the tyres. He recommended replacing them due to their age and condition. He told me what type of tyre he thought would be needed. Following his advice Halfords are replacing the tyres on my drive tomorrow afternoon. Kyle recommended ordering the tyres on the Halfords website in order to get the best deal. I can only recommend Kyle and the staff to both repair and replace the tyres at Halfords. Thank you Kyle!!

I visited the Halfords Wakefield branch on Ings Road today and cannot praise Adam and Craig enough for their outstanding customer service. From the moment I walked in, they were incredibly helpful, polite, and went the extra mile to get me sorted. They are both highly knowledgeable and a real credit to the Wakefield team. Just had my car serviced at Halfords and had a really good experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and kept me updated throughout.
