Dropped by The Ketton Ox in Yarm to watch the England game this past Saturday with some friends, and it was a spot-on choice. The atmosphere was great, and there are plenty of screens around to catch the football, so you’re never struggling to see the action. Prices were reasonable too—exactly what you’d expect for the area. Would definitely recommend for a match day!
Fantastic pub. Lovely friendly staff. Dogs welcome. Sadly we ordered 2 meals and we're not complaners but honestly both we're very poor. My steak pie crust was like concrete and meat inside was shrivelled up and nearly non existent. My partners fish and chips fish looked amazing but after battling though the inch thick rock hard batter the fish was shrivelled up and about the size of a fish finger. Sorry we both had a bad meal but the beer was good.
Back to old fashioned service. I have to highlight Lisa whose service was impeccable !! Every drink we ordered throughout the afternoon was brought to our table with a smile and great banter. For two grumpy men it made our afternoon 😂😂
Parked up on a lovely hot summer ☀️ day and seen the pub. I didn't have food,so basing my review solely on a pint of cold shandy which tasted and went down fantastic. Spot on for customer service. Parking on a Sunday is £1.50 & lasts 24 hrs. Car parking is the whole of the Yarm high street.
Stacey during our bottomless brunch was fabulous! She was so friendly and kept the drinks coming. The burger was delicious too.
