Nice pub and beer, but food ordering system needs looking at. Ordered a single Margherita pizza via the QR code on the table. A table of 8 ordered their pizzas about 10 minutes after us and got theirs delivered after 15-20 minutes. Ours arrived after 45 minutes. It was bang average with a minimal amount of cheese. Definitely not worth the wait. Seems that if you order at the bar, you go to the top of the queue. Pizza guy was rude and obnoxious when I went to ask about the pizza. Bar staff did give us a free drink but would rather have had the pizza earlier. Will definitely not be ordering food from here again.
Really chilll bar, nice selection of beers to try, rock music playlist was awesome not too loud either. Had a pizza while we were there, really nice stone baked pepperoni. Not really a sit down meal place but nice if you get the munchies while your out. Would deffo go again.
My favourite bar in York! I’ve lived here for a long time and was delighted to see this opening. It’s an excellent space with a great vibe and the staff are very friendly. Good back options with pizza and the beer is fantastic as you would expect from Northern Monk with a few guest beers on too 👌🏼
Great first visit to NMYRK. Beers were fantastic as always, staff were super friendly & knowledgeable when asking for recommendations & happy to let us try a few samples before making our decisions. Also a great selection of merch, could have spent absolutely loads on numerous tempting items! Class new spot, not to be missed when in York!
New beer place on the map of York! Latest arrival from Northern Monk Brewery. Really nice atmosphere. Plenty of beers to choose from. Three different food truck menus. This place is now on my permanent map of bars to visit while in York. Update: Visited if today. It's still a good place for a beer. Unfortunately kitchen was closed.
