<p>An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Support professional to join my clients busy and growing Commercial Property team based in York.</p> <p>This role would suit an experienced Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, or Property Support professional looking to develop their career within a well-established and supportive law firm. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the department by providing high-quality administrative and legal support to fee earners handling a broad range of commercial property transactions.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>• Providing day-to-day administrative and secretarial support to Commercial Property Fee Earners.</p> <p>• Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence.</p> <p>• Managing client files from opening through to completion, ensuring compliance with firm procedures.</p> <p>• Carrying out Land Registry and Companies House searches.</p> <p>• Preparing completion statements and assisting with post-completion matters.</p> <p>• Managing diaries, appointments and meeting arrangements.</p> <p>• Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, surveyors and solicitors.</p> <p>• Handling telephone and email enquiries efficiently.</p> <p>• Preparing SDLT documentation and Land Registry applications where appropriate.</p> <p>• Assisting with document production, file management and document filing.</p> <p>• Maintaining accurate records within the firm's case management system.</p> <p>• Supporting fee earners with exchange and completion processes.</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>• Previous experience working within a Commercial Property or Property department in a law firm.</p> <p>• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.</p> <p>• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.</p> <p>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> <p>• A professional and client-focused approach.</p> <p>• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.</p> <p>• Experience using legal case management systems would be advantageous.</p> <p>• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</p> <p>• A proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues when required.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment.</p> <p>Please Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly.
