<strong>Commercial Property Solicitor | Development & Investment | High-Quality Client Base </strong><br /><strong>York or Malton | 5-9 Years PQE | £60,000-£80,000 DOE + Bonus</strong><br /><br />Not every Commercial Property role offers genuine variety.<br /><br />Some firms promise broad, interesting work, only for you to spend the majority of your time on routine transactions.<br /><br />QED Legal's client is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its growing Property team in either York or Malton. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys building long-term client relationships and wants to work on a genuinely diverse portfolio of commercial property matters.<br /><br />You'll advise an established client base comprising owner-managed businesses, investors, developers, landowners and commercial organisations, handling matters from instruction through to completion while working closely with experienced colleagues across the wider Commercial team.<br /><br />Your caseload will include:<br /><br /><ul> <li>Commercial acquisitions and disposals.</li><li>Freehold and leasehold transactions.</li><li>Commercial landlord and tenant matters.</li><li>Development land and investment property.</li><li>Property finance and secured lending.</li><li>Asset management work.</li><li>Supporting wider corporate transactions involving commercial property.</li><li>Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate.</li><li>Developing and strengthening relationships with clients and professional referrers.</li></ul> To be considered, you'll ideally have:<br /><br /><ul> <li>Qualified Solicitor with 5-9 years PQE in Commercial Property or Real Estate.</li><li>Experience managing a varied commercial property caseload independently.</li><li>Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills.</li><li>Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic, risk-based advice.</li><li>A proven track record of developing strong client relationships.</li><li>Confidence supervising or supporting junior colleagues.</li><li>A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine interest in contributing to the continued growth of the team.</li></ul> This opportunity would suit a Commercial Property Solicitor, Real Estate Solicitor, Commercial Property Associate, Senior Associate or Property Lawyer looking for a role that combines quality work with genuine long-term career prospects.<br /><br />You'll be joining a well-established Yorkshire practice with a reputation built over generations, where quality of advice and client relationships remain at the heart of the business.
