The role requires strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, manufacturing experience, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and equipment performance.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Client Details</strong></p> <p><br /></p> <p>Or client are an established manufacturing business based in York who are looking for a skilled and motivated Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their successful engineering team.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Description</strong></p> <p><br /></p> <p>The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a variety of production and site equipment to ensure maximum reliability, efficiency, and safety.</p> <p>This role requires both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.</li><li>Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.</li><li>Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Profile</strong></p> <p><br /></p> <ul> <li>The successful candidate will have;</li><li>A recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled discipline).</li><li>Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing or production environment.</li><li>Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.</li><li>The ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>A flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Job Offer</strong></p> <p><br /></p> <p>Salary is ranging up to £55,000 per annum.</p> <p>This is a day shift based role however, they are looking for someone who will be open to a mixture of day and night shifts. </p> <p><br /></p>
