Cody Hunter, a talented rugby player, has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until the end of 2028. This decision comes after a successful stint with the Knights, where he has shown his skills and potential on the field.
Cody Hunter's Journey to York Knights
Cody Hunter initially joined the York Knights on loan from Newcastle Thunder earlier this year. He made a memorable debut in April against the Leigh Leopards, quickly establishing himself as a key player for the team. Over the course of the season, Hunter made a total of 20 appearances, showcasing his abilities by scoring five tries and kicking 30 goals. His impressive performance has undoubtedly made him a fan favourite.
Before arriving in England, Hunter played for the Sunshine Coast Falcons in Australia, competing in the Queensland Cup. Known for his exceptional game management and creativity, he brought those qualities with him to North Yorkshire. His ability to control the game and make smart decisions on the field has been instrumental in securing his position in the Knights' halves.

After signing his new contract, Hunter expressed his enthusiasm for continuing his journey with the Knights:
