Hi. Was there yesterday. 10122025. A friendly team of northern ladies crewed the surgery. Dealt with promptly and professionally. Just over 24 hours later I am amazed how much my vision has improved. The procedure felt non invasive and could only describe it as slightly uncomfortable. Theatre staff were very good. Special thanks to Sandra who the previous week realised I had just completed an anti biotic course and had to rearrange my appointment for 7 days later. Would definitely recommend this to friends who need cataract surgery.
Went there escorting my wife so not qualified to comment on the eye surgery. But they are really excellent with pepple who are escorting patients. Free unlimited tea coffee and cold drinks with an excellent choice of biscuits.
I cannot fault the service and care you get from Optegra York. From the minute you enter everything runs like clockwork with the operation lasting just 9 minutes. No pain or discomfort whatsoever including post operation recovery.
What can I say. Everything ran smoothly. The expertise of the surgeons. The reassuring staff. Thank you all at Optegra york for restoring my sight and your reassurance. You are all 5*. How comfortable you made me. If anyone reading this who needs cataract surgery, go to this wonderful clinic. I had Cataract surgery on a second eye, arranged by the NHS, in October 2024. The team were pleasant, helpful, efficient and the process was explained well. Highly recommended.
