Eastgate Car Park

Really nice and clean area. We had a trip to the beach and found that there was plenty of room for everyone to social distance whilst having fun on the sand and in the sea

BE WARNED.Ideal for being near to the sea front and reasonable price. Yesterday 2/8 we witnessed 3 cars having parking tickets stuck to windscreens as they were parked on the 'roadway' on the grass area. There is nothing to say it is a road and the only indication are studs marking parking spaces. There should be something painted or some form of notice indicating which is the road. Wondering how many people have been fined and East Riding council must be making a packet.

A very quaint British coastal town - Hornsea,since my parent's moved home here in 2019,I have visited a few times. The Eastgate car park is quite small,but very neat and tidy,serves it's purpose for this small part of Hornsea,and the parking fees are extremely cheap! This part of the sea front itself is on the higher portion of the cliffs,that sweep down towards the main part of Hornsea sea front and promenade,the beach here is smaller,especially at high tide,but it is unspoilt and very well kept,a lot of pebbles which the kids love,have built a few sandcastles here,which don't stay built too long as the sand granules are quite large. A great place to stop and park if you want the quieter end of Hornsea sea front,with one shop and public toilets.

Easy access to all waterfront amenities. Fairly cheap to park and not too busy. Spaces available most times.

Pay and display, always available parking and short walk along the promenade to town.
