<p>We are looking to recruit a Head of Finance for a successful and growing family-owned business, operating in the multi-site leisure sector. </p> <p>Key Responsibilities &amp; Duties</p> <ul> <li>Strategic Financial Planning: Produce annual budgets, and updated forecasts for the business.</li><li>Financial Reporting: Produce monthly management accounts, annual reports, and variance analyses for the Shareholders/Senior Management. Produce key performance reports. </li><li>Compliance &amp; Governance: Ensure accurate financial records, manage the annual audit process, and comply with tax and statutory requirements.</li><li>Financial oversight: Manage daily finance operations including payroll, working capital and cash management, and bank reconciliations. Manage relationship with bank. </li><li>Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance department - a team of three full timers - to ensure that processing and reconciliations are kept up to date. </li><li>Decision Support: Provide analytical insights for business development, cost savings, and investment opportunities. </li></ul> <p>The candidate</p> <ul> <li>Experienced Head of Finance or Finance Business Partner.</li><li>CIMA or ACCA qualified ( or part- qualified if practical experience is suitable) </li><li>Experience in multi site leisure sector is desirable but not essential. </li><li>Experience: Proven experience in senior financial roles, including team management.</li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software. The company uses Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. Experience of this system would be desirable but not essential. Proficiency in MS Excel is expected. </li><li>Inter personal skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. </li></ul> <p><br /></p>
