The home of Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream, Billy-Bob’s Parlour combines an awesome ice cream parlour with a 1950’s American diner and amazing play adventures, amidst the beautiful rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales.

You’ve got to see it to believe it – open the doors of our Cape Cod style parlour & diner and you’ll enter a nostalgic journey of all things 1950’s America. In pride of place is our authentic Airstream serving up espresso, and our restored 1940’s Chicago soda stream, where we hand-pull all homemade sodas. Families gather around our diner booths enjoying homemade burgers and towering sundaes, and sit up on our parlour stools digging into waffles and ice cream. Looking out of the window you’ll see wooden trains, planes & automobiles waiting to be clambered over by the little ones, against the backdrop of the stunning Yorkshire Dales.

Some folks call up just for ice cream, some stay for the full 50’s diner experience, the kids say Billy Bob’s play is awesome and early risers swear by our coffee and breakfast. Parlour

We’ve got a rainbow of ice cream flavours on offer at the Parlour, from good old fashioned staples like Vanilla and Mint Choc Chip to Key Lime Pie or Cotton Candy. But it’s not just a fabulous choice of ice cream on offer – walk through the doors and you’ll be met by the irresistible aroma of waffles, stacks of fluffy American Pancakes made fresh to order, old fashioned floats and super thick ice cream milkshakes.

Diner

Be sure to come hungry, as you’ll find us serving up American Diner favourites all day long; Hot Dogs, Chilli Dogs, handmade Burgers and more. You’ll also find our take on the best Stateside cooking; The Brooklyn Deli, Carolina Chicken and Oklahoma Pulled Pork. Add in some homemade sides; tumbleweed Onion Straws, Hand-Cut Fries and Hickory Smoked Beans to really make it a memorable meal.

We’ve been using local and seasonal ingredients since before farm-to-table became fashionable, and almost everything on the menu is made right here from scratch; for us it’s a labour of love that we’ve found makes all the difference in taste.

Play

For customers of our diner and parlour, we’ve all manner of super cute wooden play structures, just begging to be clambered over by the kids! Imagination’s the only limit to where they’ll end up after an adventure in the monster truck, airplane, ship, fire truck, tractor or train.

Let the weather do its worst for there's a huge undercover barn for the kids to let off steam! Separated into under and over 7 year old areas, the bigger kids can enjoy high adventure, whilst the little ones can take it more gently in their own play space.

Know Before you Go

• Parking is FREE
• Outside play areas aren't free. It's £3 for the hour of play, which includes access to all play facilities. (Play is reserved for diners only during weekends and school holidays)
• Bookings - To eat inside the diner, booking a table is recommended, but outside tables are non-reservable and first come first served.
• Last orders for hot food is 5:45, and last orders for desserts and ice creams is 6:15.
