Littondale Holiday Park

Lovely well kept holiday park. It is literally in the middle of nowhere...great if you just like to chill...some walks in the area as well. Beautiful scenery. Ideal base if you have a car as it is a drive to the nearest pubs in every direction on mainly single track roads.

Just stayed here for 7 nights. We had a great time. The location in the dales is stunning with access to all areas of the dales. The site was well kept, clean and tidy. We got a message from Mick before we arrived to clarify the best route to the site which was very helpful. We had a choice of pitches with electricity included. Which was great as I’m tired of metered pitches at other sites. I’ve noticed a 1 star review was left while we was there regarding issues with the shower. Yes one of the thermostats was stuck on hot but a quick word and I was assured it would be sorted. The 1 star review also mentioned pooling water in the shower block and hair around the drain. As far as I can see it was an oversite from the cleaner. But nothing to get upset about to that extent. So I think a 1 star is a bit unfair. My father in law also stayed in one of the self catering pods and he loved it. It was full of everything needed for a great stay, warm and comfortable. We was told fresh bedding and towels was available but we didn’t bother having them changed with a short stay. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short as there was an issue at home. But that can’t be helped. Also I’m on EE and got full 4G signal and I got 45 channels on my caravan tele. So all good. We will defo return. 5 stars from us 👍

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our Gold glamping pod and would highly recommend it. We were greeted by Mick on arrival who was friendly and helpful. The pod had a comfortable bed, excellent shower and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs. The view from the pod was fabulous and we enjoyed several walks from the park over the dales and visited the two local pubs, which we can recommend. This was our first introduction to the Yorkshire Dales and we were so pleased we chose Littondale Countryside and Leisure Park as our base.

Excellent holiday experience. I stayed in a glamping pod with my family. Very comfortable and well equipped. The site is beautiful, set in the heart of the Dales. Easy and convenient location for exploring. Would definitely recommend to one and all !!

This is a potentially lovely site that is being let down by a complete absence of care. The shower block has 3 showers, one of which has a broken thermostat stuck on scalding, one with inadequate drainage meaning that dirty water is pooled on the floor. Both this one and the remaining shower clearly hadn't been cleaned for days , and not at all during our 5 day stay, as evidenced by the build up of hair around the drain. I raised this with the site's parent company, who didn't respond to me. The site manager agreed that the build up of hair was unpleasant and apologised, saying that he would " speak to the cleaner" who only seems to come in occasionally. What the site manager didn't do was to take any action himself to remedy the situation. If you like to wash in dirty shower cubicles on a very expensive site then this the place for you. Otherwise give it a wide berth
