The Frenchgate Shopping Centre is a thriving hub of retail activity located in the heart of Doncaster town centre. With over 120 stores Frenchgate aims to bring the latest in high street and designer fashion to Doncaster and the surrounding areas. Its prime location ensures easy road access from the North and the South as well as by bus and train via the centre’s transport interchange.

The Frenchgate Centre was originally named The Arndale Centre after the street of the same name that formed one of the old gates of medieval Doncaster. It kept this name until 1988, when it was renamed under a change of ownership.

Frenchgate has over 120 stores giving a vast range of choice, variety and opportunity to its visitors. Whether you are looking for street chic with Topman or River Island, A new fragrance or foundation with Debenhams or Superdrug, a tasty bite to eat with Ed’s easy diner or some homely pub grub at the Mallard, you’ll find everything you need and more within the centre.

Frenchgate Shopping Centre is ideally located in the heart of Doncaster with two secure car parks; The Rooftop car park and the Multi-Storey car park.

The Long-Stay car park is accessed via the Multi-Storey car park and is operated by East Coast Trains making it ideal for rail users.

Rooftop Car Park: Accessed via West Laith Gate and ideal for those driving into Doncaster from the South along the A638 or from the West on the A630. With 340 spaces, 16 of which are disabled, this car park provides access into the Multi-Storey car park for further parking.

Multi-storey: Accessed via Church Street and ideal for those driving into Doncaster from the North along the A630 this car park has 846 spaces with a mixture of disabled and parent/child parking spaces.

Rail parking (long stay): Accessed via the Multi-Storey car park entrance off Church Street, this car park is ideal for rail users and has 480 spaces, 10 of which are disabled parking spaces.
