Based in the centre of York, Lost Earth Adventures is an outdoor activity provider independently owned and operated by Richard and Sarah Goodey. Our staff are friendly and passionate, and have the knowledge, expertise and qualifications to make sure you have an unforgettable, fun and safe experience!

We offer privately guided sessions for individuals, families, schools, youth groups and corporate groups all year round the year across Yorkshire, the Peak District and the UK. We also specialise in unforgettable stag and hen do’s, as well as unique, bespoke charity challenges.

Rock Climbing

Reach new heights with a thrilling day out climbing at the crags and on the rocks!

We offer a range of different rock climbing days to suit your interests, so whether you are a novice climber or seeking to improve existing skills we can tailor a session to your requirements.

Locations in Yorkshire: Almscliff and Brimham Rocks (both within 45 minutes from Leeds, Harrogate, Bradford and York)

Gorge walking//Canyoning

Jump into refreshing plunge pools and down rockslides, scramble up boulders, and play in cascading waterfalls while discovering the thrilling activity of gorge scrambling. Your adventure starts by entering into the chasm on an exhilarating, free hanging abseil!

Locations in Yorkshire: Nidderdale (60 minutes from Leeds, 40 minutes from Harrogate, 1 hour 15 minutes from York)

Abseiling

Defy your vertical limit! Feel the rush of rappelling off overhangs and down sheer cliff faces or bridges.

This is an exhilarating way to have fun, challenge your mates or an exciting way to raise money for charity. Our qualified and experienced instructors will be here to teach you all the skills necessary to conquer the crag.

Mountain Biking

Get on the inside track and come riding with Lost Earth Adventures! We’ll show you the very best trails, routes and rides throughout the Peak District and Yorkshire. Whether you’re extremely experienced or new to the sport there is something for every skill level. We provide all sorts of mountain bike courses to up your game in the saddle or simply to learn the mechanics of maintaining your bike.
