After undergoing a complete renovation, The Dunkirk has a new lease of life whilst retaining the best bits about a village pub. Sitting in the heart of the community this destination pub offers real ale drinkers and gin lovers alike a warm, welcoming place to meet family and friends.
Focusing on real ale there are eight different beers to choose from with five of those rotating regularly. Most of our ales come from local breweries including Small World Beers and Mallinson’s Brewing Co plus we also have our own exclusively brewed beer from Here Be Monsters of Holmfirth; Dunkirk Spirit.
The Yorkshire gin menu has offerings from all corners of the region including Divine Gin which is just a few miles down the road.
Our menu focuses on traditional pub fayre, with gastronomic flair on our specials board. Using top quality produce and keeping dishes seasonal, means you’re getting the very best on offer throughout the year.
Part of the refurbishment involved building a roof terrace which allows you to enjoy the beautiful countryside which surrounds the pub. Further outdoor seating at the front and rear means there’s no shortage of places to enjoy those long summer days. A real log fire when the weather turns makes coming here throughout the seasons a pleasure.
