It's cheap, shabby but secure. Good location for city centre (about 10 min walk). You need to install the twinpay app ahead of time and add a payment method if you can as it will ask you to verify with your bank. The carpark code is 011 you can check this on the gate as you enter. There doesn't appear to be anywhere you can pay with cash. It works out about £1 an hour so it's good value.

Used this car park for over 10 years and have always paid correct tariff. First time I used the car park after the new app was introduced I tried to use the payment machine at the exit instead. It is the most confusing payment machine I’ve ever come across and with no lighting in the car park it’s virtually impossible to use. I ended up with a £60 fine which I contested but Bank parking simply disregarded my reasoning. The machine is now no longer in use, from reading the previous reviews it’s not before time. Maybe Bank can use their I’ll gotten fine income to turn the lights on this winter!

Never used the car park before. Was 'recommended' by the canal cruise boat.... Downloaded the app but it wouldn't let me link a card to make payment. Gave up trying and then totally forgot as I had more pressing things on my mind. Hands up, I didn't pay there and then or even a few hours later but, as others have said, Bank Park have no interest in making payment possible and issue fine. DO NOT USE unless you have the app and payment set up well in advance (and even then I don't know if it works ok)

Avoid this Car Park at all costs. It has NO lights so is unsafe to use at night and the stairwells are frequented by drugs users 24/7/365. The barriers are frequently broken and both ticket machines are empty on a regular basis which stops season ticket holder using the car park they have already paid for. You will be charge £100 if you go over your time by minutes.

The car park is cheap and clean enough, though there are a lot of broken windows that have never been fixed. The entrance is shuttered and you need your ticket to open the pedestrian doors, so the security is fairly good. The real negative is paying as a casual visitor. I drive upto the barrier, but it doesn't ask for my ticket, it asks for the last 3 letters of my reg number. But it doesn't recognise that, so I have to give it the full reg number. Then set the arrival time with the +/- buttons that barely work. Then I can press the 'card' button to pay with my credit card. 2 or 3 receipts are printed and I can drive upto the exit shutter. Not something to do in a rush.
