Kirkby Lonsdale Post Office

Fantastic little Post Office and one of the best I've visited (and I do visit this one pretty regularly). Situated directly opposite one of the main car parks in Kirkby Lonsdale, this place has one of the few remaining SPDOs in the back which makes it quite unique. All the staff are very experienced and very knowledgeable. If you're polite to them and don't make unreasonable requests, like trying to withdraw large amounts of change that they physically don't have on site or trying to get them to take your oversized parcels which weigh 30+kg etc., then they are very helpful and accommodating.

Great Post Office. Handy for paying in and getting cash out now the banks have virtually gone.

Multiple experiences of unhelpful and rude staff. Was told unable to withdraw cash in change (before I even said how much would be required) When I drove 17 miles to my bank in kendal, payed to park in order to withdraw change, I was informed that Lloyds actually pay the post office to service their customers and should be able to withdraw cash in any demonination.

I’m really shocked by some of these reviews. The staff at the post office have always been welcoming and extremely helpful when I have visited the post office. The lady in particular who has been mentioned is cheerful and helpful

As most of these reviews say, the staff here (particularly the lady) are extremely rude and speak to customers like trash. Royal Mail need to investigate this. As the reviews speak volumes about the services they offer. Absolutely disgusting. It would be zero stars if possible.
