Mel was honestly so considerate and attentive. She was happy to help and ensure my visit today was a productive one. She even went above an beyond to make today's visit extra special. Rare to find customer service advisors who appreciate the world we live in. An still provide exceptional service. Credit to NatWest.
Customer advisor was rude , would not let me speak and explain the situation . Very upsetting and issue is not resolved . She kept saying I was blaming her which is utter rubbish . She needs more training in how to deal with people & her listening skills . I would also like to know how much experience she has with mental health patients that are sectioned in hospital and with his mum who is supervising his leave and she throws me out of the room to stay alone with him . I remain very upset about this situation . Her name was Mel.obviously not the same Mel in reviews as she was kind and compassionate which was lacking .
I have had a major concern over an unauthorised payment on my business credit card and the help and support has been absolutely dire to say the least! I have had to make umpteen calls and had poor and unhelpful advisors and STILL not sorted the problem. It is the worst customer experience i have experienced anywhere in ages. In addition the automated systems are terrible they tell you numbers arent recognised etc etc its terrible
I'm not sure why this branch is still open, I assume Natwest is tying to run it down so they can close it. The already very short opening hours are even shorter for the counter which closes before the advertised closing time and doesn't open on Saturday at all. Surely when I can do most things online, the only reason I would go to branch is because I need counter service. When the counter is closed (which is pretty much always is when I've visited) all that the staff can do is help you use the ATMs. The staff themselves seem fine but are unable to offer anything approaching a decent service thanks to the lack of counter opening at this branch. I hardly ever visit now, which I'm guessing is what the management want so that they can claim that usage has dropped and then close it.
Popped in first time at Nat West Barnsley to sort a lost card out with my partner. Worst ever, miserable greeting, customer facing !!! Absolutely disgusting ..and I work for a bank ..Nat West unfortunately your staff are lacking in being 'Approachable' to say the least. Won't be visiting again ..I'd advise to go and seek another branch.
