Excellent Service! I required no more than 20 'Woodland Mixture' house bricks. Unfortunately my nearest branch did not have any, however the Barnsley branch did. Called and spoke to Martin who I cannot praise highly enough. He advised me how many were in stock, put some to one side and took my mobile in case there were any issues. I phoned on the day that I was going to pick them up and he arranged for them to be put to one side ready for pick up. Went to pick them up Marin true to his word had sorted it, very friendly and helpful again. Another member of staff brought them over to my car, loaded up and done! Not bad service at all for 20 house bricks!! - will have to build a new house with that type of customer care. Thanks Martin and all the the other two staff I dealt with (one in the office and the fork lift guy)
Purchased a bungalow and had a new extension built and did a full renovation, we went around all the builders merchants in Barnsley looking to match up bricks. The ones we wanted were no longer available and the closest match at a reasonable price was Huws Gray Barnsley they went above and beyond with their customer service, Martin has been fantastic, he would do his utmost to get delivery on time and goods at the best prices. We have used Martin at Huws Gray to complete the full renovation and would definitely recommend and we will return for future projects. Thank you.
Doors locked and lights off. Advertised as open but nobody there.
Great builders merchant these guys will go out of their way to help store stock very large selection of building materials easy to get to and ample parking
Staff unhelpful, unfriendly and as though you are a hindrance just being in their yard. I've never had a good experience here and I've used them for years. There is only the odd member of staff that is pleasant. I'm forced to use them only because they are close to me otherwise I'd be elsewhere.
