This park has a fantastic purpose built car park that is off the road side. Me and my boys love coming here, as there's always somebody else to play with. Whether it's local children, or children that are on holiday from elsewhere. The park itself has just had a lot of money spent on it, to keep it safe and also to give it a fresh look. It has an enclosed area for smaller children, with a good fence and gate, so parents can relax a little, knowing their children aren't going to wander off. Then there's the rest of the park for the older children. My boys especially love the zip line. There's also a football field and cricket pitch and nets to practice bowling in. There's a full size tennis court and a basketball court also with a donation box next to it, so people who use these facilities could help with the upkeep, as the club need to fundraise a lot of money each year. Around the outside of the cricket pitch there's a course, with sit up bench and monkey bars, that can be great fun to do with your friends. At the back of the field there's a fenced area which has the Millennium pond in it. It has all sorts of different plants and a bridge going across. At the right time of year it attracts a lot of different species of insects and wildlife. It's also worth noting that if the pavilion is open there's toilet facilities. You can also buy hot drinks, cold drinks, sweets and sometimes even burgers or bacon sandwiches. It's a lovely friendly Park to visit and there are plenty of Park benches also to bring a picnic. Please be aware that this is strictly a NO DOGS AREA.
Awesome little park as an adult you can chill while your child plays without the worry of them escaping...no toilet facilities which is the only let down
Ideal for tots with fenced area for them. Plenty for older children. A wild garden area and recreation grounds.
Big enough to spend a good while. 7yo enjoyed greatly the zip wire and obstacle course. Visit if passing.
Lovely Park For children, plenty of stuff to play on, just has to be a 5.
