Great community facility, where I was able to effectively deliver a three day customer service course. The whole place was welcoming, clean and well presented. My learners fed back sharing that they felt comfortable and looked after. Great venue!

I attended here as part of a group booking by housing leeds. When driving use LS118NY in sat nav. This will take you to the front entrance. Usually not visible between parked cars!! There is only a small car park and it's usually well used depending which other groups are utilising the building . I managed to park my vehicle in one of three disabled parking bays. Note that there are cars on opposite side of the road when reversing back out! The building itself appears to be a converted Victorian school which still maintains its architectural history. The disabled ramp to the front door is unobtrusive and fits in well . The main door is nice and wide and in the corridor inside was a manned reception . Our meeting room was pointed out to us along with directions to the toilets and any fire exits in case of need . The rooms are large and tall too but the acoustics leave a lot to be desired if you wear hearing aids . With the ceiling height baffles would have helped greatly. The hearing loop did not appear to be working and I don't think it would be much good. with the acoustic s Access to the disabled toilets was well signed and the door was wide. I was able to reverse in and still get access to the WC without hitting anything . The WC itself contained a shower cubicle and a baby changer but because of the room it didn't clutter up my access to the toilet from my chair . Please note that there is only one entrance and exit to Hillside and not a lot of room to turn around . Taxis tend to drive in and reverse out. An enjoyable visit . I have since been informed that there is further parking at the rear. I will check on my next visit Next visit I didn’t find any other parking . However on a negative side when I came out from my meeting I discovered that access to the toilets was locked off!! I was told by receptionist I had to use the toilets on the opposite side of the building!! In order to get there I had to negotiate a lot of double doors! Fine going as I could push them open with my wheelchair but coming back was a nightmare . I had to open one door and jam my chair in it and then open other door and slide through . Took me 15 minutes!!!!!! Hence the loss of one star

Good for holding meetings, but not anything around if you need to go for a bite to eat. Saying that they do have a small cafe within the centre, but as all LCC Eating places is limited to what the have to offer.

Visited the centre for a course recently. Easy to get to and parking on site. Well appointed, clean tidy and airy.
