B&Q Bridlington

We went to b&q Bridlington today as we wanted some paint mixing, there was know body on the department so a lovely young lady said she would get someone, so we shopped around and got some bits, still waiting for someone....but it never happened so we paid for our goods....left and went to Bridlington decorating centre and got a perfect match and great customer service.....

Large car park (disabled spaces filled by non blue badge holders and a small spaces). Store clean with adequately spaced isles.

Had a very helpful, caring young man named Ed helped me at B&Q Bridlington on Saturday. I needed more information than was available on the display and Ed was so good at his job that and went away feeling heard and ready to continue my project, knowing exactly how to find the product even thought they did not have it in Brid. Thank you for your kindness, professionalism and product knowledge and advice. You are an asset to this store

I came today, for all my compost and plants to go in my new planter. The rain hit very hard, like a tropical storm. I was the only idiot walking around the garden centre, I was not leaving with out. Anyway, after walking back into the store, dripping like a sewer rat 🤣 Rick a staff member greeted me, with my compost, he walked myself and my daughter to the car holding an umbrella, we were all huddled under it, walking. Once we had put the plants in the car. He told me and my daughter to get in the car and he would go get the compost and put it in my boot for me. He didn't only just help me, he held the brolly for other shoppers too. Hes a credit to B&Q and a great gentleman. Give this man a reward and bump his pay. I needed to buy new plant pots and have always found B&Q to be one of the best places to go. As I was going to Bridlington for the day I was able to pop into the local branch. It’s not very big but usually has a good range of just about everything you need for home and garden improvements. I’ve been to this branch lots of times so headed straight for the gardening section. As usual the plants and shrubs all looked amazing and there was a good selection of plants in the Clearance section too looking for a little extra love. I was a little unlucky as there was very little choice in the size of pot I needed - usually I would be spoiled for choice. Staff as always are very friendly and helpful. Trolleys are free to use and there is ample parking complete with a snack van. Good for browsing but even better if you know exactly what you want!
