We don’t usually do reviews but me and my husband visited for the markets and thought we’d pop in for a much needed drink and we really enjoyed it. We’re from Newcastle so this place seemed much fancier than we’re used to! We had an issue getting on the WiFi and asked the member of staff on the bar, jasmin. She said it was her first day so she wasn’t sure but she offered to let us use her hotspot. We thought this was very kind and we hada lovely chat about where else to visit. She also made me the most delicious chocolate espresso martini! Although it was quiet, we found the atmosphere quite intimate and were impressed by how beautiful the place was. Will definitely be visiting again next time we are in York! Xx

Cocktails around £10 per head. Lots of seating in a modern setting with lots of tropical / botanical themed decor. Extensive drinks menu with a cocktail list with a good mix of the classics you’d expect and their house special recipes. The blood orange spritz was particularly good. I asked for a negroni sbagliato. Which is off menu but there was confusion into what it was and I told them the variant recipe of the standard negroni (which was on the menu). It came out very tasty but made me nervous if you wanted an off menu cocktail. Service was quick staff were easy to get orders from and you paid as you go. Music was a bit loud but would go back due to the quality of drinks.

Had a lovely time at this bar with some friends while we were in York for the weekend. Stopped off as it seemed a nice place to grab a couple of cocktails and after much deliberation (less than a minute) we decided on getting the gin/martini tree. Looks expensive on paper but it was worth every penny, the cocktails included were some of the best I've had in a long time. The espresso martini was a definitely highlight. I'd definitely recommend and will be back in the future. Sadly I can't comment on the food but what we saw delivered to other tables looked and smelt amazing.

We went here for their boozy brunch. The food and drinks were tasty. I ordered a croque monsieur, was served a croque madam, when the croque arrived it was not a proper croque it was just a toastie. Don’t get me wrong it was tasty but was not what I ordered. The service was very slow, luckily there were a set amount of drinks on the boozy brunch rather than it being a bottomless brunch as we would have been left disappointed otherwise due to how slow we were being served. We understand there were multiple large parties in the restaurant which was likely the reason for the slow service. The manager of the restaurant was attentive and was the only member of staff to notice us not having received our drinks so we do appreciate the effort he went to.

This is such a cute place to grab a drink - we don’t get food but I can only imagine that it would be amazing as-well. Cocktails are well priced at about £9 each and they were so delicious and a number of them come in really cool glasses. The staff are amazing and so friendly our waitress Mia was the best, so kind and friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Compliments to the bar tender Simone as-well because the drinks were delicious.
