Beverley Conservative Club

Been a member since mid 90s. Excellent snooker tables, well maintained, nice surrounds with great Bar and terrific staff. At a time when many other local snooker leaning clubs have either gone out of business or ignored their core customers it is pleasing to be able to play at a venue, as a member, and feel valued. They have regular Saturday entertainmenr and occasional Snooker Exhibitions, recently Ken Doherty. 5 Stars!

Parking at Beverley Conservative Club is a bit on the expensive side, but it’s worth it if you’re struggling to find other spaces nearby. The location is convenient, and the lot is well-maintained, making it a reliable option when you’re in a pinch. Just be prepared for the higher cost.

Spotless, welcoming club, helpful and polite staff. Attended for a family event, couldn't fault anything. Small car park outside available, if attending the club can key in reg to their system rather than pay and display.

Very well run and organised venue for members only. As you would expect from a members club both the drink and food offers are very good value for money. Food is served on Saturday and Sunday lunch, with a competitively priced snack menu on the Saturday and a traditional Sunday lunch. This is backed up by a good selection of ales and lagers as well as wines, spirits and soft drinks. The staff are very friendly and make everyone feel welcome and valued. They also have big screen TV for sports, gaming machines and full sized snooker tables to enjoy a game with friends. Whilst I was there they also had a Whist drive on for some of the members which had a really nice community feel. All in all a really nice place to spend some relaxing time with friends.

DO NOT PARK HERE - I paid £2 because I did not have the correct £1.60 change for 2 hours parking - (ie the equivalent of 2.5 hours parking) - and was fined £60 (or £100) for staying 26 minutes over 2 hours. I recall the very bold red lettering on a large advertising board saying "£80P per hour" - but I cannot recall seeing any mention of CCTV cameras or £100 penalty. I feel that this is a deliberate trap for unsuspecting tourists like me.
