**Horton Station Cafe Bar** Superb service and location. Lovely home made food. Licensed bar too...! Very quaint. Dog friendly. Directly on the railway platform.
A nicely cared for historic station in traditional Midland Railway decor. Modern information screens and footbridge with lifts. Train service reasonable except for a big gap in the afternoon timetable Southbound
A really nice train station in the heart of the British countryside. These picturesque stations are all really nice to see and visit. This is a great starting spot for the Yorkshire three peaks.
Peny-y-Ghent gateway for walkers and climbers. Trails leading from the crown pub and train station nearby. Also you can join the Ribble trail walk which leads from Lancaster to settle and more from.here. Area of outstanding natural beauty. Great spot for camping, and visit local pubs in the village.
Beautiful village. 2 pubs and plenty of parking. Base for doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.
