Decent car park for the castle as only 3-5 minute walk from the entrance, though high street may be more convenient. It was quite open when we went, a flat £2.80, and closed at 6p during the week.
Visiting Skipton? Don't bother parking anywhere else.. Park here, £4.80 all day and the money goes into Skipton Castle, not some corporate car park company. Chap on the gate is very friendly and helpful on where to go if you're visiting for the first time. You don't get that from a parking app. Good sized parking spaces too.
Easy to get to and well set out car park. The gentleman on the entrance was very pleasant and extremely helpful, he took his time to explain the best route for us oldies to take through the woods and even produce a map to fully explain. Only down side is the price.
Large car park in easy walking distance of the Castle and historic town. Fantastic banter with the ticket person - always a joy. Gates are locked at 6pm so don't be late!
Arrived at 10am and the car park was fairly empty with many convenient spaces to park in to. £4.80 for the day and closed at 6pm. The attendant was very polite and took payment easily.
