Station Garage came highly recommended by a local friend but I never thought to use myself. After an unanticipated need to get my car in, I gave a try and am thankful for the fantastic service. If you're anything like me MOT and service time of the year is an anxious time for the bank account, particularly when your car knowledge isn't the best. The service here has been very quick and clear from the minute the car was looked at. I can be pedantic when it comes to detail so knowing that you've been told specific information that you can repeat back and reaffirm is correct is beneficial, and I want to thank the owner for his patience. The prices are also entirely reasonable as well. The total cost including suspension, brakes, a service/MOT and water pump was what I had anticipated for suspension alone. Whilst I don't plan on being in a position to have my car need a lot of work in future, I'll be using Station Garage as long as I'm Leeds based. Thanks for giving clarity and assurance. UPDATE - Drove the car after picking it up and it's like the first day I bought it. Brilliant service will be solely going here moving forward.

The guys at station garage are very knowledgeable and helpful, especially Neil and Martin. They both went above and beyond to diagnose and fix the problem with my car, when a previous garage wasn't bothered to do so. They helped me out a lot and I really can't thank them enough. They don't rip you off or tell you something needs doing if it doesn't. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been bringing my cars to Neil for over 15 years and I have always had great service from him. He and Martin have a wealth of experience and knowledge and the guidance regarding my cars has always been spot on. There are two professions you have to trust, your barber and your garage, and I trust Neil and Martin to do a great job at a fair price. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

1st time using this garage after seeing all positive reviews. My 10yr old Mini Cooper was an MOT fail for first time - not an unexpected surprise. Neil immediately communicated the work that was required. Authorisation given to proceed. Some issues with supply of required part - continued to keep us up to date. Team cracked on in spite of delays for correct part. Fully working car returned at close of day. Fair price. Friendly staff. I think we have just found ourselves a new garage. 2 Happy Customers Thank you Neil!!

AGGRESSIVE OWNER, DISGRACEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Owner, Neil, is extremely aggressive and rude. He didn’t properly check over what needed to be fixed on my car so I returned it to him as I paid hundreds of pounds for it to be fixed and I wanted him to have another look at the car as the problem was not resolved. He admitted that he didn’t drive the car to see if the noise had gone. Instead of being apologetic he was rude and aggressive and when I asked him to explain the issue with the car and why he didn’t spot this before he said “I knew you would say this” and “I don’t know how your brain works but I’m telling you it’s…” insinuating that I’m stupid. He also said there would now be an additional cost of over £100 to fix the issue. He also tried to blame me for incorrect diagnostics when I am not a mechanic as highlighted to him. I told him there was a strange noise and he suggested it was the spring so I trusted his opinion. I went back to the garage as he requested (after he was being aggressive on the phone) because he told me I needed to tell him whether I wanted further work done or whether I wanted to collect the car without further work. When I arrived he pushed past me and was intimidating. As a young woman in a space with three men his actions made me feel uncomfortable. When I questioned why he walked up to me as he did instead of walking around me to give me space he raised his voice. He said the car was not ready but could be collected in a hour and I said okay no problem. I was not informed on the phone that the car would not be ready to take straight away and I’m not sure how I would “attempt” to take the car as it was hoisted up. Moreover, it is my vehicle so the implication that I did something wrong by politely asking for my car back is nonsensical. I returned an hour later as requested and he left before I could make a complaint in person about the way he spoke to me or the quality of service I received. Would not recommend this garage, customer service is terrible, no accountability and the owner has anger issues! He was also very sexist last time I had an MOT and suggested that I should not spend money on clothes/makeup or something of the likes for a month in order to pay for a service and advisory work. The reply below is far from the truth and his offer of a reduction in price for the remaining work is seemingly an admission of guilt and evidently proof of the poor service I received as businesses don’t offer concessions for no reason. Please keep all of this in mind before using this garage.
