I needed some tyres urgently after driving up from Essex to Scarborough and having a rather scary blow out on the A1. Had to put on my spare so needed a tyre to get back safely. I phoned on the off chance they could fit me in and they could, two hours later. At first the man seemed rude but then I realised he was rushed off his feet and when he came over to do my tyre after a five minute wait he seemed much more pleasant and was quite chatty. He politely told me another of my tyres was illegal and advised me to get that one done too but he stressed I wasn’t under any pressure. I could see he wasn’t trying to get more business from me so I asked him to do it. Only reason I didn’t give five stars was because when I first phoned I wasn’t told the road into the garage was closed. Coming from Essex I didn’t know the area so I obviously turned up late after realising the only way in was up a no entry road which is actually the way out. Otherwise I found this business to be helpful and I would recommend to others.
